The tradition of giving shape to religious or folklore themes using dough is a very old one. The classical Egyptians, Greeks and Romans paid homage to their gods by making offerings of dough figures. Your students will mix their own dough and form their own figures as they learn interesting facts about our agricultural system and how bread is made.
