Simple Haiku expresses in poetic terms a lightly sketched picture reflecting feelings, the seasons, and historical passages. The seventeen syllables are divided into three lines of five, seven and five syllables. The students will illustrate their own Haiku, or Haiku from a book with cut paper compositions.
