Grade K - 5, 1 Hour Workshop
Workshop Cost $45
What are they? How did they begin? Why are they part of a dance? These questions shall be answered through the teaching of the history of this fascinating instrument that is incorporated into the artistic art form of Spanish and flamenco dance. Students will have the opportunity to not only have them demonstrated, but to play them and learn the basic sounds. Students will apply them to basic flamenco (fiery gypsy dances) or Spanish classical dance.
