The Kings of Salsa will make their San Antonio debut featuring the very best of Havana’s Salsa and Hip Hop dance scene all backed by Cuba Ashire, an eight-piece band with two vocalists. The nine-dancer troupe combines traditional Afro-Caribbean dance moves, world class contemporary dance and the Cuban classic forms of Mambo, Rumba and the Cha Cha Cha.
Choreographed by Roclan Gonzalez Chavez, this stunning production pays homage to the great Cuban performers and dance styles. Regarded as one of the best young choreographers in Cuba, Roclan has created this show to feature the unique talents of some of the best dancers selected from Cuba’s top dance companies.
